Completely hypothetical, but for the purpose of this thought experiment we accept that no one from now one will ever chew another piece of food for as long as humanity exists. In ~100,000,000 years -

Will people still have normally deveopled teeth as we have now?

Will people have less developed or stop developing teeth altogther?

Other?

Did you just watch the South Park episode where everyone tries intero-rectogestion?

Wouldn't that be similar to what happened with fire/cooking? Cooked foods required less energy to break down and absorb so the human gut become shorter and more efficient thus allowing more energy to be shunted toward supporting a larger brain?

So teeth would continue to be teeth?

There would have to be reproductive value placed on mate choice with or without teeth. Using them for some utility doesn't really make much difference.

So people with nice teeth would become more desirable mates?

See below for an oversimplified explanation:

Survival and reproduction is all that is needed. Does having/not having teeth increase your chance of survival? Does having/not having teeth increase your chance of reproduction?

1) There would have to be small mutations that would decrease the size of the teeth.

2) These mutations must not be harmful to the passing on of the genes.

Now, one would be ok not needing teeth to eat, but you have to factor in one huge, important factor - does it look weird? Because weird looking people don't get laid as much, thus not passing down traits. Are there other factors, such as speech? Unable to communicate well means you are less likely to pass your genes on as well.

Conversely, maybe teeth would get bigger. If people with larger, shiny teeth were seen as more sexy, that trait would start to gain traction.

In short, traits that get passed down aren't always beneficial to life. As long as that trait helps them get laid. The peacock tail is a prime example.

This.

The lack of basic comprehension of scientific concepts here never ceases to amaze me.

Unless and until less teeth or different teeth becomes a factor in mate selection and reproduction, there can be no long term evolutionary impact. It has Jack and shit to do with chewing or not.
