One of the few things my wife does that really, really pisses me off. She just sqeezes the tube in the middle. God forbid she actually squeezed from the end.

Just gets my goat. I don't know how many times over the last 8 years I've yelled at her about this. Just common sense. Sqeeze the damn tube from the end!

Well.. then the tub is mostly full, i'll squeze from the middle. As it gets empty, i'll force all the paste to the end of the tube by dragging it along the sink edge. Takes 3 seconds.

My method as well. Middle first then from bottom until all gone.

This was a big deal, like should the toilet paper go over the top or under, back in the days when toothpaste tubes were made from a tin alloy. Once crimped, you could not uncrimp. You needed to squeeze and roll from the bottom to get all the toothpaste.

But for the last 30 or 40 years toothpaste and similar products are made from plastic. You could not rol them up if you wanted to.

This argument is a waste of time.

I'll never have that problem. Nobody would ever share a tube of the grease stipper I put on my toothbrush. I use Rembrant whitening w/ peroxide. Takes like hell on horse hair, but the point is to get my teeth clean and maybe bring them up a few shades.

Heck, I also use the cheap bottle of mouthwash...the kind that brings tears to your eyes. I want to kill all the shit in my mouth when I wake up, not chug on a bottle of mint and a sprig of vanilla.

So, I doubt I'll ever have any squeeze issues.
