Are you a leg?

Yep. I was wondering since I am a leg, if the airborne tab is worn with it. When you get them, they come with the tab. Don't want to be wearing shit I ain't earned.

There are a lot of legs in the 101st wearing Airborne tabs above the chicken patch.  You're good to go.

I only asked because I thought you might be interested in joining ArmyParatrooper.org

Stay safe!

I think that the gold spear on a black oval is not service specific as SOCOM is joint service. The Black dagger on a red arrow head (obviously taken from the US/Canadian 1st Special Service Group in WWII) is for US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Ft. Bragg, NC which is the US Army's subordinate unit within SOCOM.

The US Army Infantry School doesn't look anything like that. Wrong colors (blue and white), wrong background device (shield not arrowhead), bayonet not a dagger.

I went to a soldier of the year competition with a guy that was wearing a SF combat patch.  He was a laundry service specialist and said they had million dollar machines to do their laundry.

Take that for what its worth.
