It happens that I know the lady. I also know the dept and have talked to their officers about this call. It was a major incident for them that went on for hours. Heck, Marble Falls is an Austin suburb.  She can outshoot 90% of GD with either pistol or rifle.  It's a photo chop job.

Since about 10% of GD are actual competitive shooters, and do NOT consider bump-firing to be a valid tactical option, It's possible.  Concerning the chickenwing, BFD. Ever seen the pics of an Arfcom shoot? As for leaving cover, sometimes you have to. BTW: Marble Falls weapons are officer purchase. Not issued. I find it very interesting that I cannot find the original pic. (the newspaper is called the Highlander) Bottom line, it's a chopped photo, and everyone except the badguy went home safe. Now, Arfcom can get upset all they want about style points, but since this is real life and not a Paris fashion show, I'm sure the officers involved will get over it.
