Looking forward to the new season....  It's a pretty underrated show, imho.

Trailer episode? Totally missed it. Was it a full new episode?

Eta: I haven't seen anything about Rhona being in the season.
However, Bridget Regan.

I've enjoyed the show, despite it's flaws.

By the shows own numbering convention it was not a numbered show, it was an hour and 5 minute "trailer".

Last seasons ending (season 2) was #23 and season 3's opening show number is #24.

I saw the hour long trailer show.  It was definitely new stuff.  At first I was sorta confused because I didn't know what was going on.   The official Season 3 has not started yet.

I enjoyed the episode.  Hopefully the rest of Season 3 will be the same.

Looks like the premiere on the 12th is 2 hours, so I'm guessing that the "trailer" episode they aired is the the 1st hour?

I haven't found it online yet, so I don't know.

The DVR caught it and I watched it last night. Pretty good episode. For a TNT show, it's pretty decent. There are few things they do, but otherwise it's worth watching.

Very cool, Stan08!

The Navy officially recognized the show for it's pro-Navy efforts.

Yes, it is better than 99% of the shit on TV currently, even if it HIGHLY differs from the book.

I spend enough time on DDGs as it is, I don't need to watch them on TV

I started to watch it, but I was afraid it was going to give up too much of the season story line

I'll watch it after I see the season premiere

4 years on a DD. Was wondering where they get fuel since it is the last ship. I know how much a DD burns a week in normal steaming.

Looks like the season premiere is delayed.
Apparently, there's a scene with a nightclub shooting in it.

In the first "preview" they pretty much said that it is NOT the last ship, they referenced others operating in the Pacific at least.  Also in the first season they went to Guantanimo bay to refuel and ressupply, and they also made a stop at Norfolk.  I believe they syphoned fuel from a deralict cruise ship as well.

IIRC, there was also mention of an "unmanned fuel station" somewhere in season 1.

I watched the first season on Hulu recently...and was seriously overcome with deja vu.

Lone ship exploring the unknown?  Check

Loyal, mixed co-ed crew?  Check.

Strong, seemingly trained in combat arms/CQB tactics CO?  Check.

CO/XO/Science Officer always in "away teams"?  Check.

Red Blue shirts?  Check.

When I tried to watch what I thought was the season premier on my DVR and saw they pushed it due to terrorism I was pissed.  Then I watched the last episode of last season and was surprised at the violence they show on TNT.

As far as shows on TV right now go it's one of the best things going.
