Just feeling like crap today, curious if anyone else is?     I get paid sick time so I suppose it isnt all bad.   At least I dont milk the taxpayers like a particular county employee on the news lately

I've got that cold/flu general sicky crap that's not totally debilitating but still makes you feel like shit all day

Whenever my whole body aches from a flu, I take a lot aspirin.
Surprisingly, it works.
The high temperature is still there though.
It gets me through the day.

Nope, never sick.  (in the body)

Vit C  (at least 1000 mg , no maximum)
Vit E  (between 50 - 200 mg, dependent on tollerance)
Zinc  (between 100 - 500 mg, dep on tol)
Magnesium  (balance with calcium intake and take another 500 mg)
Echenicia (sp?) (follow RDA)
Pineapple juice (lots.  For the potassium) (potassium intake should exceed sodium intake)
Teaspoon of virgin cocconut oil (really good in coffee)
Garden of Eadens 'perfect food'  (once a day)
At least 1/2 an hour of sunlight each day
6-8 hours of sleep every night
At least 20 minutes of exercise every day
Eat when you are hungry and eat until youre no longer hungry, and dont over eat
Drink 1/2 of your body weight in ounces of good water every day.  (ie if you weigh 160 lbs, drink 80oz of H2O each day)

Stay away from soda/pop, the phosphoric and carbolic acid are hell on body PH
Avoid all sugars as much as possible.  Something like 30 g of sugar will decrease your immune system by 80% for 4 hours.  (those #s arent exact, Im going from memory, but are very close to actual statistics)
Avoid dairy until completely healthy

Feel better!

Its not that bad.  Once you get use to it, it just becomes routine.

And hell, its better than painting the comode and filling the tub at the same time.

I'm pretty phlegmy, but otherwise OK, but I had a sore throat a couple days ago.

I wish I was sick enough to stay home, but not sick enough to really suffer. Or that it would snow. F***ing unnatural unseasonal weather.

Just allergies from the cedar pollen.

But back over the T-Day holiday, I had some kind of creeping crud and wound up with pneumonia.  That was fun!

seems the whole area by us is sick- some sort of stomac flu going around- pretty quick and very contagous (sp) basically barf for an hour, get the chills then you download the colon about every 10 min.  I was going for a knockdown texture on my toilet.  Cant even drink water without immediate and explosive ass-blast.  Luckily it goes away quickly.

Thought you would all like to know.

I got the flu before Christmas, it is still going as a slight chest cold now. My fever was up
to 104 Degrees Christmas Eve. Army hospital said take more Tylenol and Motrin don't come
in. I should have been on antibiotics. I also had my flu shot this year!

At least my wife and daughter didn't catch it!

I haven't been able to work out since I got it, and I feel even worse not being able
to exercise. Tonight I am attemtping the Tread Mill. Weights resume on Monday. I am
still coughing shit up.

Friday before Christmas, I flew home ont he disease vector express (loaded with snuffling kids and families) and picked up a chest cold.

I am fighting it pretty good, but usually have a hacking fit around 1:00 AM that really fouls up my sleep pattern.

I've been sick about 3 weeks not to varying degrees , missed 2 days or work at the worst of it with sore throat , earache, cough, runny nose, general sinus hell. Now I just have a stuffy nose and occasionally cough up some fleghm. My 14 month old son has it too as does my wife, I think we just keep passing it around.
