We have what, 2 months? Didn't we have to have the gifts to the other person 2 weeks b4 xmas last year? If so it may be good to get a jump on it.

This sounds like a good idea! How would it work? Do people give a list of things they want? Do you choose who you buy for or is done by someone else?

I think it was for members in good standing with over a certain number of posts. Kept it under a 20-30 limit and I believe it was either a random pairing or based on the order of those who were "in".

Oh, that would mean I don't qualify...I'm still a nonpaying newbie. I have been considering paying for membership but I will wait until hubby gets home from BCT. I didn't understand what was so intersting about this site until I visited it myslef. I like it. |

The first Christmas exchange we did there were a lot of newbies to the board that put in for it and didn't come through with a gift to their partner, even though they were sent one. The second exchange corrected this by using only team members in good standing, usually determined by post count, just for the assurance that they wouldn't flake out. |

I'm in for the exchange.
As a suggestion to prevent hurt feelings, here's what we did last year. I exchanged with Wiggy762. We spoke on the phone and decided what the max dollar amount would be. We also gave each other ideas on what we wanted. Great fun! |
