If you want a proper device of ear destruction, get this. It's a great brake, don't get me wrong, I have one on my 20" savage 308 that the kids shoot all the time, makes it feel like an AR, but that fucker is LOUD! Quite a bit louder than the Mini-y

it wasn't just the noise. the amount of rear-directed blast was capable of emptying the firing line, and drawing a bunch of annoyed looks from irritated fellow shooters as they packed up and left.
so it wasn't all bad. |

I used to have one on a 14.5" ar back during the ban. It was really really loud and fire-ballee. Like fuck this shit loud.

When I was building my 11.5" pistol I looked around and the mini y didn't seem to be made anymore. One or two may be availible on the used market though.
I went with a single chamber brake instead.
Snake hound machine has a SCB they call the loudener. It's availble in .223, .308 ARs and AK pattern. |
