Holy hell..... Pissin like no ones buisness....
Question though, can you drink "to much"? Or to fast? Im using a 32oz jug and I still have 6.5 hours at work. |
I started drinking 6 24oz of water a day last week. I was pissing so much it started to hurt a bit. But I felt pretty good after the first couple days. Im going to go back to doing that tomorrow.
Good luck |
drink water when you are thirsty. Drink beer to fill times in between getting thirsty.
I have never even smoked a cig. Im not worried about a piss test. |
Yes, you can drink too much. I'd have to research it again to find it. I drink about 100oz. a day. |
You gotta drink massive amounts of cranberry juice to pass a piss test
They ain't testin' you for nicotene, hippy.

Anything more than 2 gallons a day would be too much for a sedintary lifestyle, I should think.
I drink 3-4 20oz bottles of water during a 8hr shift. I then end up drinking about another 32oz when I get home, over the period of 3-4hrs. |
I believe you can. I just don't know how much is too much. |
Yah you can drink too much but you have to drink a few gallons in a relatively short amount of time without eating anything. Basically what happens is that you flush your system of salt and electrolytes, your brainstem swells and you die. You will be fine drinking the amounts you are, if you are really worried about it mix in some gatoraide.

Hell, I wish my drill instructors at MCRD read that research. They used to make us drink water until we threw up, just because. |

Maybe this has been part of this damn problem ive had for months...Oh well... |
Im learning it by going to the bathroom every damn 5 minutes. |
I read a newspaper article not too long ago where a kid died during a fraternity hazing. He died from "water intoxication". He drank something like several gallons over a short period of time.
drink till you piss clear. Just if you make your living on the road like I do, It SUCKS having to stop every 15-20 monutes.
Mine is normally a cloudy yellow.... But its already clear from one 32oz thing... I need to go to the Dr. but orking nights makes that hard. |

Reminds me of a joke I heard a while back, goes a little something like this:
So I'm f****** this guy in the ass right? Well he reaches around and grabs my balls, I'm like "FAG"! |
Why would you want to do that, when there is perfectly good soda, beer, wine, coffee and tea to drink? |
I see left field is a little lonley this time of night |

Local radio station did a stunt a few years ago.
They wanted to see how much "near beer" their intern would have to drink to get drunk. I had access to a handbook of industrial hazards, which had information on the physiological effects of water, which gave the LD50 and other indications of overexposure. I don't have access to that book anymore, but if I recall, if you could somehow manage to drink two gallons of water in a half hour, and not vomit, you would die. Your body needs to maintain a certain concentration of potassium and other minerals in it's blood. If you drink too much water, you dilute everything. Dilute them too far, and you die. Period. This book also gave lethal doses of intravenous as well as rectally administered water. Anyway, they did some math on the air and determined the intern would need to drink a case and a half of near beer. I emailed them and told them that IF he managed to keep it down, he would die. But the information I had indicated the body would start to reject it. Sure enough, half way in to their experiment, the intern was puking.... and expelling water through all of his other orifices. |

I usually drink about 3 17oz refilled dasani waters a day. i have a water purifier that i use to filter my tap water. then wash and reuse the dasani bottles.

The unscientific formula to figure how much is enough is--your weight divided by 2=the number of onces you should average per day. I'm sure it would be more if your sweating it out as fast as your drinking it, then water alone is not good enough.
I always used drink water till your piss is clear unscientific forumula |
I drink right around 2 liters of water every night at work. Plus I almost always have a glass of water sitting on the computer desk. I drinks lots of water. And I still drink a good gallon of milk each week. glug, glug, glulg.

Why are you drinking so much water? It was a fad awhile ago, I can find no research to indicate that it has any benefit. Can you? ETA - From Snopes.com - www.snopes.com/medical/myths/8glasses.asp |

In that case - congratulations! That's a great reason - soda is the most popular poison of our time. 60 - 70 GRAMS (15-16 teaspons) of sugar in a 20 oz drink is one of the principal reasons people go diabetic in their 40's
