As recent as 2012, it was still being cleaned up for "contamination" from toxic seepage. Apparently there were levels of trichloroethylene at 128-times higher than the states limit for drinking water.
In 2014, the property was sold to the Lansing Co. for development. If you're not planning on having children, sure, go check it out... Here's a youtube  Urban exploring Norco,California |

I grew up in riverside and we would drive over to Norco for a big skate ramp.
This was back in the 90s. Hope this helps.

My great grandpa worked there and I have pics of him in front of one of the test stations you can see from google earth. Don't know which one. Thought it would be cool to see where he was standing. Not a bucket list item but cool.
