| Thinking about upgrading to snow leopard, but after seeing the reviews on apple.com I am not so sure, anyone have any experience with the upgrade? |

I run both windows and mac machines. (ar15.com motto, Get Both!) My concern came up when the actual apple website reviews have it at 3/5 stars. My advice would be for you to take stock of your peripherals and any "odd" software, then search around on Google to see if there are any issues with Snow Leopard and your stuff. I have a mishmash of hardware here (non-apple NAS, printers attached to print servers that 'shouldn't' work with MacOS, etc) and there was NO hassle going from 10.5 to 10.6. YMMV, and good luck! |
| Runs fine, seems to be a little faster than Leopard but not an earth-shattering difference. There were a few issues with software when it came out, but pretty much everyone has updated their stuff to make it compatible. The only thing I have heard about lately is some older peripherals not having drivers available, so check your printers, scanners, etc on the internet as mentioned earlier. |
