Does anyone know if any marine sniper has ever been issued a 5x unertl?  I thought the military only issued 10x to it's snipers.  One of my owners told me yesterday he had lunch with a marine sniper who then worked for Blackwater.  Said he used a .308 with a unertl 5x scope.

I think it is bs.

I would IM fellow board member Brain Ksain(brianksain), or at www.americansnipers.org.  He's pretty close to  people in that profession and he may know.
