When I lived in Tennessee I had such smutty corn. I needed to get rid of it so I dug a big pit to put the infected plants in. So every day I'd be just shoving more and more of those big stalks into my cornhole. I couldn't believe how much I had in there. One time the neighbor saw me from over the fence. I guess he had a smut problem too and pretty soon he was over putting his stuff in my cornhole. The wife saw and then she joined in rubbing her huitlacoche all over inside my cornhole. And that is when I swore I would plant corn every year. |
