How do you carry them?

I have tried them several times on my belt and neck-carried, but I keep going back to folders as the most comfortable option.  Am I missing something?

Actually, it would be nice to find a fixed blade for a pocket carry. I wanted to buy a Boker Subcom FB, but it is discontinued.

Tucked in my waistband with some cord anchoring it to my belt.

Yes I appendix carry  blade.

Knivesshipfree.com pocket sheath. I also like a small fixed blade on the belt, as long as the top of the handle is right around the top of my belt, and doesn't ride up to high. L.T. Wright Patriot is my current go to fixed blade belt knife.

I carry an Izula parallel on my belt sometimes.  With a better attachment system I would carry it more.

Cold Steel Roach Belly utility fixed blade.
Sheath on my belt, tucked into rear pocket, under a t-shirt, around the pastures, over the river and through the woods.

LT Wright, model is the Bushbaby.  So far only The Knife Connection has them.  It's O1 with a scandi grind, which is really hard for me to resist.

Off topic but fixed blades make me nervous from a "how do I talk my way out of this"

I know a bunch of guys who carry small fixes blades that are obviously meant for fighting I don't know...

I've been on a Becker BK14 (Eskabar) and Esee Izula kick lately.  They punch far above their weight and are fun to customize with different handles and sheaths.  I think I'm up to 6 now.

Nice! I've been looking at some other LT Wright knives that are a hair bigger than the Patriot. That model might have to get picked up next.

I recently started carrying a cheap fixed blade myself. I made the holster myself. The clip is for gun holsters for iwb.

Neck knife in homemade kydex.  The ends of the 550 cord are burned together, not tied so they will break apart when force is applied.  Some folks get worried about strangulation.

In my state it is illegal to conceal a fixed blade of any size even if you are legally concealing a pistol, unless you can demonstrate that you used it for your job that day. No one cares unless you get stabby though.

When my job takes me in the woods, around my neck or with the lanyard tied to my belt and the knife in my pocket.

The North Country EDC one looks a lot sexier to me, but both seem really small.

I have a Bark River Bravo EDC.  It's similar in size to the LT Wright Bushbaby.  I think of it as very well made small paring knife.

The izula is easy to carry IWB with the sheath they sell with it. i carry it on my side, clipped inside my pants over my pants and belt with the clip facing outward and the sheath is IWB. I barely notice.

Does that not interfere with your pistol and spare magazine(s)?

Look up the CRKT Minimalist series.  They come with a friction lock sheath that you can either wear on a lanyard around your neck, or you can put the belt loop on the sheath and it goes right next to your belt buckle, but instead of sitting vertical, it sits horizontal.  I use it far more often than a folder.  It is much faster to pull out.  They also make one called the SPEW with a bigger blade, but I like the handles on the Minimalist series better.

I've pocket carried, boot carried, owb and iwb carried.  Use one for work.

If you want an expensive one look at a spartan blades enyo. I lost mine and will eventually get another. Fit in my hand better than any other small knife.

Not my pic but gives you an idea of size.

The front pockets on my jeans were extended a bit so I can pocket carry a s&w 642 in a pocket holster with ease.

If I buy jeans that are "carpenter" advertised or cargo pants or some sort the pockets are generally deep enough stock.

Anyway, a lot of my fixed blades have 3 or 4 inch blades.  Handle is not something super duper extra, just for the hand with nothing else.

You can buy pocket organizers, I got a leather one that holds a knife and a small flashlight.  The flashlights made to run on one aa or aaa work best.

You could make something or go with all sorts of options.

Having looked at a lot of my holsters and knife sheathes and some of the other stuff I own that is made from leather I just recomend sizing your pocket and figuring out what you want to fit.

I can drop a knife in its sheath in my pocket, but much like the 642 in a pocket holster I want the knife right where it should be and if I want to pull the knife I don't really want the sheath coming out with it.

I somewhat like horizontal on the belt line but have not really tried it much.

For the pocket organizer it was a toss up on knife and flashlight or knife and spare magazine.
