Giles and CQB Solutions slings are of a similar design. They come with an attached Wilson/Scattergun Tech type side sling adapter that goes under the magazine cap. To me it looks kinda goofy to have a sling attached that close to the muzzle. The buttstock end attaches just like a Giles or CQB AR15A2 sling and they recommend removing the sling swivel.

Or you could attach a clamp to the barrel/mag tube that comes with a side swivel post, shaped kinda like a figure 8 with the top and bottom open. I had one on my 870 before I put a CQB sling on it. IIRC, it came with a Tac Star magazine tube extension, or you can buy it separately for less than $10, from Tac Star or Uncle Mike's, etal. With this option you can use any sling with QD swivels, like the Uncle Mike's mentioned above.

This thread has me wondering what kind of sling the military uses for 590A1s. Anybody know?

Malpaso, read my reply in this thread and see if you think that's a good idea for attaching a sling to a 590A1, not under the mag tube end cap, but on the mag tube above the bayo lug.
