I believe this has been discussed before and it is 100% legal bump fire stock!

Yes, quite legal...for now anyway, until ATF decides it's not.  I've gotten to shoot one once, really fun, great way to waste a ton of ammo with zero accuracy.

Dont know what state you are in but I do not think it is legal in MN so check your laws

This is the law in question in mn

(d) "Trigger activator" means a removable manual
or power driven trigger activating device constructed and designed so
that, when attached to a firearm, the rate at which the trigger may be
pulled increases and the rate of fire of the firearm increases to that
of a machine gun.

What is zero accuracy?

I thought they were a total waste of time until I saw a kid at the range a few weeks ago who had a .22 LR AR on one of them.

It reminded me of a poor man's American 180 and it ran very smoothly.

I managed decent accuracy with an Eotech.

You just aren't that good at it.

Didn't know a .22 kit would produce enough recoil to run one correctly, cool.

Well bless your heart!  I ran 2 mags through one...on one occasion.  I felt the accuracy was sub par, it's called an opinion.

It enables you to pay over $200 for a pointless technique you can perform for free with just your finger.

The learning curve is nearly identical to the finger method, anyhow.

I owned one of the first sold and I can say that side by side with an M16 we were able to get the same size groups at 20 yards.  If you know what you are doing it is fairly accurate.  Still a "range toy" though IMHO, but very fun.

Keep in mind that the "Akins Accelerator" was BATFE approved until they found a creative way of ruling it illegal. Give it time this will be illegal also.

I have one on a 9mm AR and it will pretty easily keep all shots on a IPSC style silhouette at 25 yards during mag dumps with no problems.  With some practice I am sure you could even do better.  Not as accurate as semi auto fire but certainly not "zero accuracy".  IMO, it is more controllable during mag dumps than a full size full auto UZI 9mm (the only full auto I have experience with).  I bought one thinking it would be hard to use or not work that well.  I was way wrong.  The Slidefire is super easy to use.  I am still in amazement that it is legal (at least for now).  In fact, it works so well it has pretty much eliminated my desire to buy a RDIAS or RR as I can dump ammo as fast as I want and it costs a fraction of the $12-15K a real one costs.  That leaves me more $$ for suppressors and SBRs.

Calling a spring "creative" didn't take much. The slide fire is TOTALLY non mechanical.

There are a few youtube videos of guys running them on M&P 15-22s.  They needed to lighten the trigger pull to get it to work though.

Yep, legal.
Here's an ARFCOM thread: http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_12/521690_SSAR_15_slide_fire_solutions_stock_review_.html

I have one - here's me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFrBPRYLuXM

I was surprised that it worked on a rimfire rifle but it did and it was smooth and very fast.

The kid was shooting it with impressive accuracy too.

I didn't speak to him about it though, I just watched him shoot it for a while but I was very surprised at how well the thing worked and how well the guy shot it.

9mm I'm sure is easier to control than .223 mag dumps.  It was my first and only time using one.

Also, to whoever claimed the learning curve is the same on a SlideFire and for normal bumpfiring, you're stoned.  I can't get more than 2-3 rd bursts if I'm lucky trying to bumpfire from the shoulder.  I got a full mag dump my first try with no effort with teh SlideFire, zero learning curve.
