Maybe an eventual method for tattoo removal?

Put the patient under, burn off the tag, respray with healthy skin?

Amazing none the less.

Nice little straw man argument there pal, but of course it falls flat. This treatment uses the patient's own stem cells, like every other successful therapy involving stem cells.

Your desperation to justify using body parts from dead fetuses is... interesting. It shows plainly who the real zealots are, at least in this debate.

I did some reading and as usual, there is a little more to it than shown by the media (even if it is NatGeo).

This is some incredible shit.

As a newly graduated and licensed nurse in an ER, I hope that this can be used to help people recover from some horrendously scarring and traumatic incidents

I'm a bit skeptical of the details they stated as well.

Plus, I'd like to see if there's an application for 3rd degree burns or full thickness replacement.  Interesting, but sketchy so far.

You are right. There is more to it than in the video but in the end they are able to do exactly what it says they can do.

You are acting like a dumbass and know nothing of what you type.  This technology is made possible from adult stem cells, not fetal stem cells.  Very, very, very little advancements if any have been made from fetal stem cell research.

Wow! Thanks for the link, the new dressing they developed with the artificial capillary system is even cooler than the skin gun.

This technology is probably years off from being the standard of care, but the same people are working on muscle tissue replacement in a similar fashion for troops injured overseas. I saw a little bit about it when looking for info on this skin gun, basically it looks like they rebuild a muscle instead of needing to amputate.

You gonna come back and stand by your statement..or are you just trolling?
This "religious right" guy read up on it..and thinks it is an awesome advance in medicine.   I firmly believe the cure for all our ills  are out there...we just have to find them..........ethically.
