Eli Callaway (sp?), inventor of the Big Bertha club, said to my boss at an outing years ago, "judge the caliber of a man, by how he treats someone he needs nothing from."

I had to sell alll my mics. But an SM-57 and SM-58 will be the first two mics I buy again!

Anybody try the 'beta' versions of these two mics???

I've got 2 SM-58's they're the Standard by which most general purpose mic's are judged. Durable as hell too.
