Living in a Free country, and going on the teaching that Christ gave all men free will, I will say no.

Those who are saved, will use it to guide their lives, and we should not push our beliefs onto others.

What's wrong with using The US Constitution?

Christian Sharia.  Interesting idea.  A bad idea, but interesting nonetheless.

This.

I don't trust the nutcases at the Supreme Court interpreting the Bible for me.  They've screwed up the Constitution enough already.

I think the premise is flawed.

Either that, or a deliberate strawman.

Why didn't the Founding Fathers set it up that way?

Hint: Because it's a horrendously stupid idea.

The Constitution is not the sole legal and civil authority either, just the one at the top of the hierarchy.

Show me a Theocracy that hasn't had different factions of the same religion fighting among themselves. Or worse yet, blame other religions for what ever problem.

Hell no.
Go back to the Constitution and expand upon any modern-'original sins' that arent covered with a little common sense.

In that case, I'll say that I believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God, but it is not a complete plan for governing a modern nation.

I'm gonna have to side with the Founders and say no.

I have this crazy idea that when the Founders had a blank slate to start a new government, they didn't want to make this country a theocracy.  Maybe Nancy Pelosi or Obama traveled back in time and stopped them from doing it, sure.  But I think it's more likely that they just didn't want to.

But it did set up the framework for what we needed for proper government.

While the Bible (and Christianity) is a major influence on Western law and civilization, using it as the sole source of criminal and civil jurisprudence wouldn't work. Especially in a complicated "web" like the modern American legal system.

Even the Holy Roman Empire and Catholic Church didn't use the Bible as a sole legal reference, in the Middle Ages.
