An Omaha father has been arrested in connection to a shooting that injured his two young children.
Thirty-year-old Robert Semans was arrested for two counts of felony assault, felon in possession of a firearm, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Police say the shooting appears to be accidental. Wednesday evening Semans fired a handgun one time at the family's home near 37th and Pinkney. His three and four-year-old sons suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses say Semans called neighbors right after the shooting. When police arrived, he told them where to find the gun.
Although the shooting was accidental, police say Seman was booked in accordance to Nebraska State Statutes due to the negligent and reckless nature.
In and earlier story, it was said that tho police were there earlier in the day, and it took 7-8 officers and some mace to restrain the guy. Of course, no other details were given. We're still not getting the whole story, par for the course in Omaha.
