[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Shipping to a state side military installation via UPS - no problem?

Fort Drum, NY to be exact. I need to send a merchandize to a soldier there - will UPS do just fine? Or should I go with USPS route? I want to have tracking # and I don't know if USPS will provide a tracking number (priority mail). Which do you guys prefer, UPS or USPS for shipment to an ARMY post?
