I read this the other day and was thinking about how great it would be if he was the dems. choice in '04, as unlikely as it may be. Running against him would be better than running against Jesse Jackson.
Then again, maybe if Sharpton really makes a run at this could the blacks once again be "disenfranchised" except this time by their own party when Al turns out not to be the choice for the democratic party? This could turn out to be something great. Michael |

At any rate, this is just a ploy by Sharpton to displace Jesse as powerbroker for the blacks at the Democrat trough. He doesn't expect to be nominated, let alone elected. It's just an internal powerplay. |

You are right about Sharpton. He is an idiot. I also think he's a racist. I hate to use that word being that it's a buzz word used so often by the left, but he is. Reparations would be on the front burner if anyone like Sharpton got in. Black folks already have more rights that whites now. |

Al was interviewed last nite on the O'reilley factor. His idea on how to revive the economy is to have the Federal Government start handing out lots of make work contracts. Hmmmmm, I wonder where all THAT money would come from......
He doesn't seem to understand the Government doesn't create wealth, it consumes it...... |
