The sight smelled like burning death for MONTHS after the attack.
New Yorkers who worked down there had to live with that stench and the memories it dredged up for all that time. The burning smell of a thousand rotting neighbors. And there you are, every day, with your coffee and bagel. 9 years later, look at how distracted we are... |

There was a thread the other day "Rmember Always" I think it was titled and I posted:
" I mourn the loss of all these innocent souls to the evil of desperate zealots. I also mourn the fact that many in our government don't. " I think this is so true. Here it is: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=1088849&light= |

Billions of dollars in war debt and a Mosque going up blocks from the 911 site ??
And we:re not done yet ?? Maybe it is sometihing we need to forget ?? Even WW II only took us 5 years to win ! |
|
Thank you for this thread. I was going to post one if one wasn't started.
I think the video of what happened that day should be played every single day on all stations at an undisclosed time. God Bless America and God Bless those who Never Forget |

My lifelong best friend is in some crappy little firebase in Afghanistan. They're worried about the enemy trying to over run them tomorrow. How can I forget 9/11 ?

A lot of people remember the incident but don't believe that it can happen again.

Other than being an American citizen and losing a cousin/friend in Iraq, I have no ties to the event of 9/11.
That being said, a day doesn't go by that I don't think about that door, the evens of that day or the families then and now that have suffered so many losses at the hands of so few. |

Hopefully, when I'm on my deathbed, and the Alzheimer's has eaten my brain, my last words will be "9-11, never forget, never forgive."

I don't remember much of my early 20's, but I do remember every detail of that morning.

I remember watching it happen on the news clear as day. Witnessing the human remains from the Pentagon being brought into the morgue at Dover AFB, DE will be seared into my mind forever.

This is the first year I've been able to bring myself to watch any of the 9/11 shows. I simply couldn't do it before. I will never forget, even if I wanted to.
|
|
I never will, ever detail of that morning was seared into my brain and will not forgive such a blatant attack on civilians .
|
|
I'll never forget and I'll never forgive them for what they did. They troll on us by building this mosque, I don't care what any of you guys say this is a spit to the faces who died 9/11

I will never forget the events of that terrible day, as long as I live.
