I'm not talking about buisnesses, I'm talking about individual sales. You don't need any paperwork when selling a gun at a gunshow, and selling over the internet is just a private sale just like a gunshow, right?

WRONG!
There IS paperwork at gunshows when buying from FFL holders (which 99% of the guys with tables full of guns are)... But if you see some other attendee walking around trying to sell a nice gun, and you buy it from him there's no paperwork for THAT sale (unless Mr walk-a-round is an FFL).
The only time there is NO paperwork is when you buy from another private citizen who resides in your own state (i.e. like buying a gun from the newspaper classifieds). All other sales require paperwork, and all out-of-state transfers require that you ship to a FFL holder.
The rules are the same WRT the Internet.
In-state private party = no paperwork
Out-of-state = Must ship to FFL.
In-state-FFL = no papers for the seller, but whoever buys the gun from the FFL gets checked...
