For those that pay for their own health insurance (probably high deductible like ours), what sites do you go on to check rates/coverage?  What companies do you like?

Just found out that the company we have had since 2008, Assurant Health, will no longer offer health insurance end of this year.

yeah yeah Pike

Funny thing is, I know nothing about Obamacare and subsidies, etc.  I have just been paying my premium every month for 7 years for a policy that I pay for EVERYTHING out of pocket because of the 10k deductible.

I know nothing about this crap.  My State Farm guy handles all of our ins stuff, health ins too, but now I have to see what's out there.

I used www.ehealthinsurance.com/ when I was looking but I think I talked to an insurance agent too.  They got a commission from the insurance companies so it didn't cost me anything.

I think I have the max deductible in my state but the insurance premiums go up every year.

United Health Golden Rule.

At this point it's just a tax I pay for the privilege of working for myself instead of some sociopath in a shitty office.
