Just finished this one.  And you were bang on.  Damn, that was a good movie.  I'd heard of it, but I went into it not knowing anything about it except the main three actors who were in it.  It was a great story and very well acted.  I loved Edward G. Robinson's character.  He was awesome.

Only thing I'd ever seen Fred MacMurray in was My Three Sons, so that was a pretty different experience.    Guy had some range.  He was a hell of an actor.

Same writer and director as Sunset Blvd.  I am officially a fan.
