I worked there (Sears) in the 1980s as a teen. I could not get over the MASSIVE amount of theft by the guys who ran the loading dock. They did not have cameras down there, so their friends would back a small truck into the dock, and they would load it up with VCRs, exercise equipment, etc. It was nuts. I'm surprised they are still around at all.

A lot of retailers loose huge amounts from theft from their workers. |

I did see a 40 footer with tools show up at least once, that's true. |
