What's up with the 30 day limit on the search? Is there an upgrade going on, and it's only temporarily at 30 days? -Gloftoe |

While we're on the subject of searching, the board selection doesn't seem to be working right. It's only searching the board that you're on when you click Search, regardless of what you select in the drop-down. For example, searching for posts by me from this page shows only the General board, even if I pick AR15.com in the drop down. But if I click search from the AR15.com board I don't get any of these, even if I pick All Boards. |

Because of the stress of searches on the system, I made it only available for logged in users. This helps keep things difficult for trouble makers and trolls to find what they want. I realize a few lurkers wish to remain anonymous due to personal mistrust in internet security, but I felt it in our best interest to go this route. I removed the searching of topic messages and kicked the search length back up. Also added the search by reply authors as requested earlier. I realize this is a late comment, so I assume things are working well. =) |

Personally, I'd like to be able to search w/o logging in. I tend to lurk on boards and only log in when I have something to post. Would it be possible to have keyword searching so that if you put in multiple words it looks for all of them but not necessarily in the exact combination? |
