Quick question... how do I search? I mean, I know how to use the search function but everything I put in comes up as not found; even if I have archives checked. Secondly, how do I do search for my own posts? Sorry for the stupid questions, but of every forum I'm a member of, this one is the hardest to search topics in. Maybe it's just me.

Ok I have a stupid question for ya, and not I am not trying to insult you either. With that covered, when you search for something either by keyword or author name you click on what part of the forum you want to search right?
Do you also set what timeframe you want to search? anywhere from up to 30 days and newer or older? Also when using keywords are you going by the keyword specifically in a post or just thread title? If you are searching for another persons posts or thread are you shure that you have their member name spelled correctly? Granted I am not right next to you when you have tried to do a search to see if you are missing something or not, I am just guessing here and trying to cover most of the bases. Let me know if you are still having problems and if you need to find something I can always try a search for you too. Wolf |

Wolf Hi Wolf, Yes, I would ensure that the specific forum I want to search is checked along with the date range being correctly selected. If the topic I'm looking for isn't covered under the date range selected, how would I ensure that the archives are searched? ETA: OK, try this... search for 'canted fsb' in AR Community. Date range selected is past 30 days and older. AR Community is selected. I've used both exact phrase and all keywords to no avail. No results found when I tried. |

Hmm well I did try a few things and came up with 2 lists. here are the 2 topics that are out of the archive search that I found so far.
