Recieved an e mail, proportedly from e bay, telling me that a purchase I had made had insufficient funds, and that it would be resubmitted in a few days.

Hmmm. I don't do business on e bay. I have NEVER done business on e bay. I did once do a purchase using their Pay Pal, but that was several years ago and any info on the Debit Card from that purchase is long since outdated by new cards.

I tried to call e bay. No phone listings.  Tried to e mail them a response thru their web site.  Can't contact them unled you've signed up, which I won't do. So I simply respnded to the original e mail, but suspect it comes from an automated generation device and no human will ever see it.

Interestingly, I got a similar type thing from Pay Pal a couple of months back, so the question is; are these people simply off the wall. or is this a scam type thing? I did place a small PHONE order with Lee Precision a few days ago using the ATM card, but I can't see how that could translate into an internet type thing.

Anyone else had similar experiences?
