Picked up a neat little toy today.
BK Precision 2120,  20mhz dual trace Oscilloscope with manual and probes for 70 bucks!  Now I know it is only 20 mhz but for 70 bucks I'll make use of it.

The trainer I picked up a few months ago for 40 bucks and it also came with O-scope probes and a logic probe.

Just took my electronic devices final, thats a cool set of stuff you got there. But right now if I had that I would set it on fire and urinate on that ashes.

Nice!

I need to learn how to fly the scope at work.  We have one sitting in the data center...

Good score!

I have about the same scope (Heathkit branded but same front panel and same specs) but rarely pull it out because I'm spoiled by using the fancy ones at work.

They still work just as well as they ever did so you are GTG.  Just don't get spoiled like me.

I think it's pretty cool that you are doing this on your own time.

I passed up a 100mhz dual trace BK for 240 bucks and I kick myself.

Should have gotten it.   I wish I had a good scope at work.  Could use one.  I don't bring my stuff to work.  One of the employees there trashes everything he touches.

I bought a like new tek 2246a with 4 probes and manuals from someone who thought they were going to be a tech overnight for 80 bucks. Sorry, had to rub it in.

I have no idea what I'm looking at.
Must be one of those scientology machines.

I recently treated myself to a new Rigol DS1062E 50 MHz scope, which can be hacked into a 100 MHz scope.  I'm waiting for the dust to settle on all the issues found with this or that version of the internal software when doing the hack.  Done wrong, the scope becomes a door stop.

I see that shit at work everyday and avoid it as best as I can. I now make others use it for me  Management is great!
I sure don't want that stuff in my  house.  I even bought a cheap ass $13 Auto Zone meter to work on my car so I don't have to see a Fluke at home.

Nice score!  Still looking for a good deal on a 'scope myself.  One of those things that when you need one to solve an issue, nothing else works.
