Got up to visit another shooter, shoot his rifle. Missed the guy next to me hand his teenage son a .308 and man, that kid took one. Blood streaming down his arm from his face, squirted blood around my bench and on the ground.
Thanks, dad!

I took a friend to the range a year ago or so and he got scope eye from my AR-15 I didn't think that was possible. I shoot with the end of my nose touching the charging handle, and there simply is not enough recoil to cause a scope to cut your brow. I am sure you could do it if you sharpened the scope ring first. |

LOL I got scratched up a bit when I demonstrated the lack of recoil by putting the but against my forehead. |
| My 338 Win Mag kissed my forehead on a caribou hunt last fall....not once, but twice. I felt the recoil but didn't notice the scope was bouncing off my forehead with each shot. Felt like an idiot but luckily I was alone and no one was there to make fun of my mistake. |
