They didn't accept his election as legitimate, so why would they accept his acquittal in the senate as legitimate?
"Legitimate" here means "in accordance with the wishes of the democratic party leadership" and nothing that they disagree with is ever going to be "legitimate", so how about we just stop giving a shit what they have to say? |

They're not actually questioning the legality of the acquittal, they're merely applying their false morality in order to continue their propaganda mantra that President Trump's Presidency isn't legitimate.
