I'm looking for some basic scheduling software.  I used to use the calendar in Outlook for weekly, monthly reminders.  Stuff like charging batteries, changing furnace filters, etc.  Something that can run in the background continuously without taking too much resource.  Oh, yeah, it needs to be free.

Thanks.
Your welcome. That was a tag because I'm interested in some software too.

Now I've typed out way more that I would have in the first place.

Sorry.  There's a lot of freeware out there.  I hate downloading shit like that without a recommendation from someone.

No prob. I should have put "tag" to be clear.

A blank response is kinda harsh.

If you run Linux, there's evolution - an outlook clone.
