My checking account got hit for a $9.95 charge through a bogus "web design" site.  I believe it happened by someone getting my ATM/Debit card info (which is now canceled !) not my actual checking account info. This scam site is "PANSALCORP.COM" which, when viewed, seems to be a legit web design service but after doing a "Google" search it turns out to be one of dozens of sites that do this. The scam relies on the small amount not being noticed and when confronted they are said to refund the money with no hassle. It's just a small amount but I am disputing it and I am confident that I will get my money back. I thought this "head's -up" might help someone else deal with or avoid a similar problem.
