Another Miller High Life drinker tonight.  Its the best American Light Lager (isn't that an Oxymoron?), and at $6.29 a 12 pack I'm not going to complain too much. |

Agreed. However, I work for an AB distributor and it was free and I can't afford to buy anything better this weekend. |

I love most American beers. Just not the macro brews that Coors and AB put out. Both are getting the hint from micro breweries though and putting out s few decent deers. Coors has Blvd Wheat and Blue Moon and AB has Shock Top, Sun Dog, Red Bridge, etc. I just happened to be able to walk off with some good ol' fashioned Bud in 12 oz cans this weekend.

| coffee tasting lager is not good. I bought some of that Sam Adams that is contaminated with pieces of glass (Bottles labeled N35). Rather than throw it out, I filtered it through the only filter I had, one of those reusable plastic wire-mesh coffee filters. I washed it out beforehand, but nonetheless my lager now tastes like coffee. Lager is not supposed to taste like coffee. |

I went out and ordered a Paulaner Hefe weizen, and finished half before I decided if I tried to finish it I might puke. I think I got a taste aversion from the last time I had a wheat beer and puked. So they offered to swap it out for something else and I got a G&T. I'm contemplating cracking open my bottle of Beefeater. |
it's OK, i had that Stone Russian Imperial Stout earlier. Probably the best beer i've ever had. |
