What is the deal with S&W?  I posted a comment on packing.org about how they are a British company and sold out to the Clinton administration; leaving other gun manufacturers and gun ownerrs in the lurch, and my post was blocked.  Am I missing something?  Has S&W suddenly renounced its past?  What's up?

Probably because your information is old. If you want to act like some self-righteous avenging angel of the gun owning world, at least google your damned facts before you go off on them.

As of 2001, S&W is owned by American investors, and is damned friendly to gun owners.

I was talking to one of their machinists today and he told me they were going to start making an AR platform rifle.  He also quipped that it was interesting that they would be made in Mass, but you couldn't buy them in Mass.
