Yesterday we laid to rest my uncle. He was place next to my fathers grave. They were born only 14 months apart my father bein the elder. Both served very proudly and seldom spoke of the Second war. My Mother was with me at the services and asked me if i wanted to see where my other uncles were buried? We walked over to the other side of the path and her two brothers were laid to rest next to each other both had been to Vietnam and gave there lives. My mom also told me my dads youngest brother was killed in Vietnam. He was 20+ years younger than my father. What a day i was very sad but very proud of my lineage. I was a late in life child for my father for those that are tryin to figure out the time line. He was 52 when i was born to his second wife. My Mom was 39-40.
