I just retrieved my Kenwood R-2000 from its box in the attic and ran a long wire antennae to the tree in the back yard. Are there any recommended freq's for listening in on the oversees sources, such as BBC, etc? Ot better yet, are there any good web sites with scheds?

You may be able to find a web site that has streaming audio from the BBC.

Try a google search for 'shortwave'. http://www.anarc.org/naswa/swlguide/ is a good place to start. hanko

Thanks! Just what I was looking for. Being on a POS dialup ISP, streaming ANYTHING is usually just a waste of time. The only bad thing about living out in the country is that there is no high speed access. Thanks again!
