I spied the new STI GP6 9mm in the case at the range last night, I rented it to give it a try. Wow, I was very impressed. It's a polymer lower with steel slide, and uses a hammer instead of striker. It has a rather long but light DA trigger, and the SA has an incredibly short and light reset. Me likey! It's quite accurate too. Has anybody else tried one yet?
It's actually made in Slovakia by Grand Power, where it's known as the K100. They made a few changes per STI's request and sold under STI's name. Evidently it's a popular competition gun in Europe. Here's STI's page: STI GP6 Here's Grand Power's page: Grand Power K100
