Can't even fathom the time and dedication it takes to build one of these. My dad and I had a 1/4 scale P51 Mustang when I was a teenager. Haven't done squat with R/C or model rockets in 25 years. Someone ought to build an R/C Firefox... I wondered that too. But it's Germany... so who knows. How 'bout an XB-70! Or maybe a 1/2 scale X-15 powered by a real rocket engine. |

It's a very cool model no doubt, but it looks pretty boring to fly considering it shares the exact same aerodynamic characteristics of the real plane and the real plane was made for flying fast and high in straight lines.
There are some REALLY badass SU25 and F16 turbine planes out there that are extremely fast and maneuverable. |
