Can I have some input on wearability, ease of removing mags, etc.. I can pick one up fairly inexpensive. Thanks.

There was a very long thread on hellcats a while ago, but I think it's archived now. You might want to try asking this question in the tactical gear forum ETA: Yep, a great thread in the archive. It'll cost you 24 bucks if you want to see it, though. |

I wanted so badly to like the Hellcat and have it work for me (because integral mag pouches seems so great) but I don’t like it and it doesn’t work for me. I went with the TT Mav (2-piece). The Hellcat was stiff, it changed fit as I removed mags and the tabs holding the mags in place pull towards your body making it hard as fuck to open them, especially the two that line up with the shoulder straps. It was teh suxxor with a pack too because the buckles in back dig in like a motherfucker. You will probably find a half dozen people or more who say I’m FOS and it’s great but it didn’t work for me. |
