let's face it gang, the biggest problem with us progunners as a group is a lack of unity...

we need unity and communication and coordination to win the fights we fight, not necessarily a whole lot of little individual standoffs (although they do help... an individual should always be commended for standing up for anything)

what the antigunners have that we dont is a solid backbone, a core (read- "hive") mind that drives the rest. they area community that thrives on appearances on local and national news, and on any talk show that will give them the oxygen to waste.

example: here in memphis, a local news station ran a story about permit holders, which surprised me as to its positivity. hoever, some of the verbage used by the anchorpeople- they talked of how many people around "you" (sic) are armed- as if the general, 'educated' public that tunes into the news wouldnt dare think of owning a gun.

to be treated as a group of responsible people and to have our rights recognized by EVERYONE we must stand as a unified people. whether that means joining the nra (which you should) or witing a senator (which you better), we must ALL stand up and do it as ONE PEOPLE, and never turn our backs on what we hold dear.

that said, get off your butt and do something TODAY!

and for those of us that are, my thanks for your help, and may you always heve the strength to do so.

I think you're preaching to the wrong group here. There are a bunch of no-compromise anti-NRA types here but they belong to other pro-gun groups.

Me, I belong to them all - GOA, NRA, CRPA, JPFO and donate $240 a year via the CFC to the ILA and a couple of other pro-gun groups that participate in the CFC. My take on the NRA is that if my enemy hates them that's the biggest endorsement for me to support them.

There will be no solidarity until ALL gun owners agree to NO MORE GUN CONTROL. The reason there is so much factionalization going on is that groups and individuals are willing to accept "common sense" gun control laws that will not affect THEIR games- i.e. skeet or SASS. They are no better than the sheeple and the MMM.

There are no gray areas when it comes to the inalienable rights in the 2nd Amendment. Either you support it unconditionally or quit kidding yourself and just hand in your guns now.

I do NOT believe its about unity, I believe its about mobilization....

They are mobilized and do indeed march....

I cant march for the exact reason I didnt go Sunday. My little brothers B-day party. Where I concluded an anti gun diatribe from my cousin with words to the effect of, ' I LOVE MY CONSTITUTION AND THE BILL OF RIGHTS, AND IF YOU DONT FUCK YOU AND MOVE'....I have family members that are PISSED, and I wont apologize.

I DONT think UNITY is an issue. I REALLY do believe its countering their slanted blathering....

I do believe like me, WE are a group of mean what we say MEN. The pink shirt wearin, mouse in the hair, little gay boy men are like the women, all talk and no show. Sensitive types are on CNN telling how mean spirited I am, and I want to go caveman on him and kick his ass. I think we are at an impass, and the confiscation day will be the resolve.....

I also do a lot of Recreational gold prospecting out here in the NW. We got rolled last year with all the land regulations and closings. Miners are typically a very independent lot, but we have managed to get a bunch of us writing letters, talking to people, calling talk shows, and working with other groups such as fisermen, hunters, and ATVers to band together to stop the new regs and raise hell. Me and 6 other guys are planning a rally and expect to have several THOUSAND people there from the response we have gotten. It does take time, but will be well worth the effort. You have no right to bitch unless you get out in the trenches. Web site for the rally is http://www.dredgeearthfirst.com.
