LIVE FROM NEW YORK!!! |
Chris Farley |
Yeah, that was very unusual. I think it was mostly due to the guest Dane Cook. Never heard of him before, but he was pretty damn funny. Check this out: gorillamask.net/cookkimmel.shtml |
I sit back and watch the old stuff that I thought was hilarious when I was 9 years old, and I don't laugh as hard now. Rosanne Rosanna Danna and the Samuri skits were funny, as were the Coneheads, but the original crew had their stinker moments as well. They don't make the "worst of" editions, so people don't remember them. Other than the '79 crew that were forgotten in time, the show goes through roller coaster moments. The good times go through peaks and valleys, but it's far from done. |
| The show goes through its ups and downs. It is currently on a career low and has been for a few years. I don't care what anybody says, women comedians just aren't as funny as me. It could be that more men watch comedians or shows like SNL. Ever since Tina Fey took over as head writer, it just hasn't been funny. SNL has a bad problem with letting bad skits drag on WAAAAAYYYY too long. The music acts usually suck too. I always fall asleep during the music acts. |
