I have high speed cable and dont have these problems. All other internet access works fine but today ar15.com (my fav. place to go) keeps locking up. I cant get on anything. I pick a topic I want to read and green bar at bottom of screen creeps along to middle and stops. Is there a site problem today?

I also have cable internet. And ar15.com is the slowest sight I visit. I think they need a bigger server.

And an active topics link at the end of a page would be nice too! Hell put all the links at the bottom as well as the top!

There are like 1200 guests eating up the bandwitdth. I think this is the problem..

It's interesting to me that I can manage to post this despite the timeouts above.  It's also interesting to me that I can read this thread, but not others.

What type of servers are you running on?  I have a few.  Maybe I can donate hardware. What do you need?

It looked like the front-end servers were choking. I could get to any thread via direct link and I was having no problems at all getting into AK, Handguns and The Armory.

NOTE: I am not bitching. This is the best firearms related site on the net. I would happily cough up the $60 for a membership but me==poor unemployed student right now.

Made me look......  Believe it or not, I did look at it for exactly that kind of stuff when I did the traceroute in the first place.  

I can't imagine that they would be sloppy enough to show up on a traceroute though.
