It's that time, and you have stocked your hideaway with food, water, bedding, and so forth. Now for the last trip to your bunker you are planning to bring in the AK's, AR's, shotguns, handguns, rimfires, and all their accessories, along with those 1000's of rounds of various calibers accumulated all these years. In the back of your vehicle is your trusty 4x4 to haul all this weaponry the last 10 miles to your cabin in the woods. But when you get to where the pavement ends, and the trail begins, the 4x4 will not start!! It's 10 miles from here to the bunker. It looks like you are going to have to go by foot the rest of the way. Chances are you will probably be able to make only ONE trip before the zombies come out. So... Which of all of it would you choose to hike in? Which calibers and how much ammo of each will you decide to lug over the forested hills to stake your survival on? Hurry, gentlemen! This shit is HEAVY. ONE trip is all you get. The zombies are starting to stir! |

Zombies = need lot's of ammo If it just me, I'll take one AR, SLW setup, and about 2,000 rounds of ammo. If I've got another person, then it's 2 ARs and hopefully 2k of ammo. I've loaded myself with 1k of ammo and properly distributed, it's not bad. 2k seems doable. THat's about 70lbs, I believe. |

I agree with the "lots of ammos" part. Since zombies require lots and lots of ammos, I'll take the rimfire rifles (with six bricks of ammos = 3000 rounds), a 9mm (lighter ammo) pistol with 300 rounds, and my AR with 630 rounds. That's all I can carry (that load would probably weighs 60 LBS!) Now, the above decision will be made ONLY if the rimfire accepts high capacity mags (like Ruger 10/22 or something like that). |

I would head back into town and plug the first poor bastard I run across who is driving a 4x4 and unarmed... Problem solved...
