Just about the last gun out there that would benefit from that kinda stuff... but I guess it doesn't hurt anything either.
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:23:41 PM EST
But how will I know where to grip it unless it tells me where?? Those new XDs have me spoiled.
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:24:39 PM EST
The added sights are nice. They sold a ton of these so this should do well.

A replaceable front sight would make about 87 times more sense than a replaceable rear sight....
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:26:17 PM EST
does it reduce the 28lb and three mile long trigger pull?

:Love my LCP BTW
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:27:13 PM EST
Quite the departure from the original, virtually non-existent sights on the first LCPs.
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:28:34 PM EST
Love my LC9 just the way it is! Sight on a sub 2" barreled gun. Lol!!

Mine is a literal tack driver though.

Get a pocket holster like te LCR uses and you should be ok I would think? The one Ruger provides with it I mean.

The sights might. Glow in the dark sights are pretty worthless for something that lives in your pocket all day IMHO.
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:38:39 PM EST
They should have used the stainless slide for the custom.
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 2:39:29 PM EST
At least in those pics it looks like they got rid of that freakin' loaded chamber indicator on the top.
For some reason that thing really annoys me.

Agreed. It doesn't look custom besides the slide and trigger.

I sometimes feel like engineers and designers at gun companies have never carried a day in their life.

I own a LCP, love it too. The only thing I'd change about it would be the sights and trigger. If they put the lc9s trigger and sights on an LCP it would be perfect micro-carry/pocket-carry gun... But that's not what they did. They put damn near suppressor sights on a light pocket 380, then they added weight and ugly accessories that no one asked for, wanted, or needed. FAIL

Yup, Galloway.
All this one needs is the 13lb Wolff recoil spring and it's GTG.

Well done Ruger!

Mine came in a cardboard box with 2 of the little key dealies, and a zip up fabric bag for transporting I guess. Got it the first year they came out when all they came in was 38+p spcl.

I don't recall the LCP ever having a loaded chamber indicator. the LC9 (hammer-fired models) yes.

Only an adjustable screw in the trigger guard and larger loop is needed.

ETA double tap
Link Posted: 1/19/2015 11:20:19 PM EST
I'm guessing there isn't enoipugh steel at the front of the sight for a dovetail, but there's enough room for a small hole, and a tiny relief on the underside of the slide. Boom, instant compatibility with any Glock front sight you wanna stick in there.

You're welcome, Ruger.
