Ron Nehring, the chairman of the California Republican Party, has been named by national party Chairman Michael Steele to head the state party chairs around the country. What is the GD impression of this guys. My gut says he's a Republicrat. What say you all?

I know nothing about him, and cursory searches via Google do not lead to a definitive answer, but my gut thinks your gut is right. If Steele likes him, you can bet he's a Republican, but not a conservative.
