Check this out...

Weird... I saw it counter-clockwise first, then by looking at the center foot, I was able to change it to clockwise.

It changes every few seconds.

[#2]
How did you manage that?
11/24/2007 5:47:27 PM EDT
[#3]
I initially saw it going clockwise, but then by moving the picture into my peripheral vision I was able to make it go counter clockwise.

I did notice that she has a nice rack on her, and it looks like she has the ol' highbeams goin' too!

I can never get it to go counter.

Stare at the heel for a min or so and it will.

I thought that too, but I had my wife come over when I was watching it go counter-clockwise, and she saw it going clockwise.  I think this picture is in league with Lucifer.

I can see it both ways in this one. The last time this thing popped up I could only see one way (can't remember which).

Ok, i can see it both ways and it is freaking me out.

Boobs on the right.  Boobs on the left.

She is spinning?

Just going clockwise for me.

I'm left handed though, so I'm in my right brain most of the time.

I see it clockwise and I definately consider myself a left-brainer.

ETA:  I saw it switch!!!

I honestly think it has more to do with what part of the image you look at first. If I scroll down from her head, I am more likely to see it coutner-clockwise, if I scroll up from her feet, I'm more likely to see clockwise.

If I stare at it long enough I see 2 spinners

She's going left and right, back and forth like a chan-chan (sp?) girl, not in a circle.

[#18]
At first it was all counter, then I looked off to the right side and she went clockwise.

Very nice looking too.

Thanks for posting it.

As was already said this is a dupe thread. :P Regardless, It's always been obvious that the 3-d image moves clockwise and up and down. :P

Me too, started off CW for me then switched to CCW a few seconds later, then back.  Easy to switch direction.

If she's not spinning clockwise, nor counter clockwise, does that mean she's not spinning at all? If she's not spinning at all, then does that mean she doesn't exist? And if she doesn't exist, then neither do I...!

I'm freakin' out man!
(Dupe! ... But a very cool one.)

What does it mean if you see her pivot only 160* back and forth? (not spinning... just turning to one side, then back to the other, etc)

Stare at her boobs and she'll go one direction, stare at her feet/shadow and she'll reverse, rinse, repeat.  It has nothing to do with left/right brain, it's a simple optical illusion.

It took me a bit, but I can make her change at will now.

Huh - I cant make her spend counter clockwise. Always clock wise.

However - when I take those RvsL tests, I come up in the middle every time. So does my wife.

I saved the image and looked at it with a .gif compiler, it's interesting. It's got some kind of visual trickery that I don't really understand going on, take a look at one of the individual frames:

The leg doesn't line up, and the arms are all double-shaded. It's doing something with persistance of vision, I think.
