I'm giving up on muffs for rifle shooting. A proper cheekweld raises the cover off my ear and eliminates its function.
Sucks, because foam plugs don't work well for me, either. |

I have to use plugs when shooting rifles as well.

I ruined my ears years ago at a Tom Petty Concert (3rd row back, front and center.) 19 years later and the ears still ring....
I use both plugs and muffs at the range. |

Muffs. I have no problem shooting a rifle with them on.

Only whenI use the thing that goes up do I use muffs. Only because I spray from the hip then. |
